HOW LONG DOES AN AVERAGE PROJECT TAKE?
The preparation of a Development Application, Statement of Environmental Effects and any required accompanying reports varies based on the nature of the project and site constraints. A well prepared application can take anywhere from 20 to 1000+ hours.
WHAT TYPES OF PROJECTS DO YOU SPECIALISE IN?
At LC Town Planning the focus is on Fast Track and properly made Development Applications. We aim to assist general home owners through the planning and development process.
Whilst LC Town Planning can offer services of any nature of development from subdivision to industrial development we focus on pools, dwelling houses and medium density residential developments and helping you to manoeuvre through the process from plans to approval.
HOW MUCH DOES A CONSULTATION COST?
The cost of preparing a DA and Statement of Environmental Effects varies depending on the complexity of your project. For example, a simple report may only cost you a few hundred dollars, but a detailed statement might cost several thousand dollars.
WHAT IS A STATEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS
Basically, a Statement of Environmental Effects is the document which tells Council what your development is/what you are trying to do. The Statement of Environmental Effects is the single most important document for your DA.
